Cedar deck and terracotta pots balance out the saturated colors of the small garden area. Coral Bark Maple and Red Twig Dogwood give a red pop in winter.

We used corten steel geometric planters (above) paired with soft textures to make a small modern sculpture at this city terrace. 
Grasses framed the views from their bedroom windows.
